Arabic 1 to 1 General

These courses in Arabic are wider-ranging in their nature, and are driven towards students who have a variety of differing needs. All beginner students will expect to study enough survival Arabic to get them through a short visit to the country, those staying on with the course can progress differently, depending on their individual requests and requirements. Whether you are buying property in a foreign country, married to a foreign national, planning a round-the-world trip, interested in Arabic history and culture, or if you simply want to attain a particular level of Arabic, this is the choice for you.

Arabic 1 to 1 Business

Arabic courses of this type are aimed towards those that need to learn Arabic to aid them with their employment. For those just starting out, it is integral to learn basic greetings and business etiquette; and reading and writing can be adopted once the simple precepts are out of the way. Success has come from students who are involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, those seeking jobs in multinational companies, and those working with foreign colleagues, academia and bureaucracy. Just our most basic beginners course will have the student finishing the course with basic telephone/e-mail skills in Arabic, as well as survival Arabic should a short stay in the country be needed.

Arabic Group Lessons

The Arabic courses are also available for 2 or more people studying together (Two-to-One Arabic Course or Small Group In-Company Arabic Course). All participants must have the same level, the same business or general language needs and be able to study at the same time in the same location. The booking must be made for all participants at the same time. Listen & Learn do not recommend group classes of more than 6-8 people although In-Company Taster Arabic Courses can be run with up to 12 people.

New York

New York City is the most densely-populated city in the United States, with over 8.2 million residents within just 322 square miles; and its residents boast an exceptionally diverse mix of cultural backgrounds. 38 per cent of the population of New York is foreign-born, but with no dominant nationality the mixture of languages spoken throughout the city is astonishing - recent studies estimate around 170 different languages are spoken throughout New York. Even though it is rarely thought of as a hub for learning, the Big Apple also lays claim to the largest department of education in the USA, and features many of the USA's most elite and influential private schools. With its broad range of cultures and huge influence in the field of international business, New York is a great place to learn a new language in a private setting, as well as granting you plenty of avenues for daily practice and improvement.
