Even on our most fundamental beginner's lesson, students can anticipate ending the lesson with basic telephone Danish and e-mail Danish skills for communicating, as well as survival Danish if a short visit to the country is needed.

Danish Group Lessons

Lessons in Danish are also accessible for 2 or more studying in tandem (Two-to-One Danish Lesson or Small Group In-Company Danish Lesson). All those involved must have around the same experience of the language, similar needs of areas of proficiency, and must be able to work at the same time and place. Bookings must be made for all students at the same time. Listen & Learn do not advise classes of more than 6-8 people, although In-Company Taster Danish sessions can be run with as many as 12 people.

Danish used to use a Runic alphabet, but nowadays is written in the standard Latin alphabet, with the addition of three other letters: æ, ø, and å

Verbs do not change form in Danish except to indicate tense

Unusually, Danish does not have particularly noticeable multiple dialects

Oshawa

Oshawa is located near Ontario, but is not technically a part of the Greater Ontario Area. The backbone of the Oshawa economy has always been the automotive industry. General Motors has long been a staple of the area, with the car manufacturer's Canadian operations located there.
