You and your group can be trained by our native speaker qualified Dutch teachers, and can meet at your place of work or home at a time convenient to you. Tutorials can take place any day of the week, including weekends, and can be scheduled for the morning, afternoon or evening. If your home or office is not suitable for you, you can attend the lesson at the teacher's offices. You will be provided with all relevant lesson materials.
These Dutch lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students with a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Dutch - required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population, students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, Dutch culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular Dutch examination.
These Dutch Lessons are intended for people who really need to learn Dutch to help make that difference in their work. For beginners, it will be useful to learn greetings and basic business etiquette, at higher levels reading and then writing become more important. Typical students include those involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where an additional language is required, and those working with international colleagues, academia and government. Even on our most basic lesson for Beginners, students should expect to end the lesson with basic Telephone Dutch and e-mail Dutch skills for communications as well as Survival Dutch required for short visits to a country.
The Dutch lessons are also available for 2 or more people studying together (Two-to-One Dutch Lesson or Small Group In-Company Dutch Lesson). All participants must have the same level, the same business or general language needs and be able to study at the same time in the same location. The booking must be made for all participants at the same time. Listen & Learn do not recommend group classes of more than 6-8 people although In-Company Taster Dutch Lessons can be run with up to 12 people.

Seattle
Now don't quote me on this, but with Seattle's international reputation for coffee connoisseurs, an appreciation of a well-roasted bean and an immense figure of coffee consumption - it's a pretty conducive atmosphere for studies of any sort. But in terms of facts firmer than an assumption that students and coffee go hand in hand, just have a look at the quality of language courses in Seattle and the high proportion of mother tongue language teachers found in this coastal port city. Languages of particular interest to study for everyday life in Seattle are Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, German and Norwegian, as these five have some of the highest number of native speakers in and around this vibrant city. The choice of languages to study is abundant though, so get ready to learn the language of your dreams and aspirations in Seattle today!
