Omaha

Omaha's modern history of multiculturalism dates back to the late nineteenth and early twentieth century as a tale of ethnic enclaves or gated socioeconomic communities. In Little Italy, Little Bohemia and Greek Town the workers of the world truly united in Omaha. In fact, famed classical composer Antonín Dvorák wrote his 9th Symphony after a visit in 1893 visit to the numerous and prosperous Czech community of Omaha. But anyone can be inspired to greatness in Omaha though, even today. Soak up a little of the rich international vibe of Omaha and prepare to learn a new language in a supportive and accommodating atmosphere. Vast populations of Mexicans, Czechs, Germans, Poles, Swedes, Norwegians, Russians, Chinese, Cambodians and Thais now call Omaha home, so just think what this could mean for practicing potential with native speakers.
