Farsi 1 to 1 General

Farsi lessons of this type are broader and are aimed towards students with a variety of requirements. While all beginner level students will cover survival Farsi - needed for short visits to countries where English isn't widely spoken, or if you wish to 'go local'; those studying Farsi usually go in different directions at this point, depending on what they need. Those who have benefitted from these Farsi classes have been those investing in or buying property overseas, those married to overseas nationals, people setting off on a round-the-world trip, enthusiasts in Farsi culture, and those enthusiastic to pass a specific exam in Farsi.

These Farsi lessons are driven towards people who have a requirement to learn Farsi to bolster their work output. For novices, you will find it useful to learn basic greetings and business etiquette; and once you have become more proficient then reading and writing will come to the fore. Typical students include those concerned with import/export, those seeking work in multinational companies, international negotiations, and anyone working with international colleagues or administration. Even on our most rudimentary beginners lesson, students can expect to finish the lesson with decent telephone and e-mail Farsi, as well as a good enough grip on the language for a short trip to the country.

Farsi Group Lessons

The Farsi lessons are also available for 2 or more people studying together (Two-to-One Farsi Lesson or Small Group In-Company Farsi Lesson). All participants must have the same level, the same business or general language needs and be able to study at the same time in the same location. The booking must be made for all participants at the same time. Listen & Learn do not recommend group classes of more than 6-8 people although In-Company Taster Farsi Lessons can be run with up to 12 people.

Guelph

Known as 'The Royal City', Guelph has 200,000 residents, a low crime rate, clean streets and one of the highest standards of living in all of Canada. The city is built above a series of detailed waterways. In fact, it is believed that over a million rivers come to a convergence beneath the downtown area of Guelph alone. Water isn't the only thing flowing through Guelph. Money has found its way into the community as well, thanks to a progressive strategy put in place by civic leaders that has focused on attracting bio-engineering and genetic technology companies into the city. The strategy has worked, and as a result there are now a variety of languages being spoken throughout the downtown area.
