Finnish 1 to 1 General

These Finnish lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students with a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Finnish - required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population, students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, Finnish culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular Finnish examination.

Miami

Situated in southeastern Florida and nicknamed "The Magic City", Miami is a getaway that has so much to offer. If glamour and high-society is your bag then head to the Art Deco Nightclub district on South Beach, regarded as one of the most exclusive nightlife districts in the world. With its pristine beaches and celebrity visitors Miami is a hotspot for tourists. Its large Spanish-speaking contingent and proximity to Latin America mean it houses many multinational corporationsÂ’ Latin Operations headquarters such as Sony, Disney and American Airlines and is a global centre for business and finance. The city also caters very adequately for those who enjoy a bit culture. The spectacular Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts is the second largest facility of its kind in the US and home to the Florida Grand Opera. Finally any visiting sports fans will not be disappointed as the city is home to national league NFL and NBA teams the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Heat.
