These French lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students with a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival French - required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population, students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, French culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular French examination.

Windsor

Separated from the United States by only the Detroit River, Windsor has benefitted greatly from its relationship with their neighbor to the south. The city of Windsor is big by most standards, with over 400,000 residents taking advantage of the thriving business community and local culture. Tourists come from around Canada and the United States to enjoy the nightlife in Windsor and the natural beauty of the waterfalls and other outdoor attractions. In fact, those coming from Detroit, Michigan need only take a brisk walk across a bridge to get there! Windsor's population is made up of locals and a large proportion of immigrants who come from all over the world in search of a better life. With such a multi-cultural, transient population, different languages are going to be commonplace in Windsor. Learning Arabic, Chinese, French or even English can go a long way in this fascinating border town.
