Your colleagues and yourself can be trained by our native-speaking fully-qualified Georgian tutors at a time and location to suit you. Classes can take place any day, even weekends, and can happen in the morning, afternoon or evening. If the case may be that your home or office is not convenient, there is always the option to take your classes at the office of your teacher. Study books for the lesson are provided.
This set of Georgian tutorials are less specific and more targeted at those who want to get a range of different things from learning Georgian. Even though all novice students will cover survival Georgian: enough Georgian to make a visit to the country or make good contacts with the locals, but what do you do from there? It depends on your needs. Those who have benefitted from these lessons have been those moving or investing overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people who love to travel all over the world, those interested in Georgian culture, and those who just want to pass a specific examination in Georgian.
These Georgian lessons are driven towards people who have a requirement to learn Georgian to bolster their work output. For novices, you will find it useful to learn basic greetings and business etiquette; and once you have become more proficient then reading and writing will come to the fore. Typical students include those concerned with import/export, those seeking work in multinational companies, international negotiations, and anyone working with international colleagues or administration. Even on our most rudimentary beginners lesson, students can expect to finish the lesson with decent telephone and e-mail Georgian, as well as a good enough grip on the language for a short trip to the country.
2 or more people can benefit studying Georgian together as these Georgian lessons are also offered to groups (Two-to-One Georgian Lesson or Small Group In-Company Georgian Lesson). Every student must have the same degree of knowledge of the language, the same business or language needs and the ability to study at the same time and place as everybody else. The booking has to be made for all students at the same time. Listen & Learn do not advocate group sessions of more than 6-8 people, though Taster Georgian Lessons can be experienced by up to 12 people.
Rochester
Rochester is the third largest city in New York, with a population of 200,000 diverse individuals. The people of Rochester enjoy a number of large bodies of water that border the area, including the Genesee River and Lake Ontario. Another New York city that ranks high on all 'Most Livable City' lists, Rochester combines the elements of a small town with the energy and fast-pace of a larger center of industry. Some of the most well-respected international companies in the world either were founded in Rochester, or currently make their home there, including: Xerox, Eastman Kodak, Paychex and Gannett Newspapers. There are many Asian-American and Hispanic/Latino families living in the Rochester area, which makes learning Spanish, Chinese, Korean or Japanese a benefit. In addition, many of the individuals living in Rochester are descendant of early 20th century immigrants meaning the romance languages of Italian and French will always be heard to some degree on the streets of the city.
