These lessons in German are wider-ranging in their nature, and are driven towards students who have a variety of differing needs. All beginner students will expect to study enough survival German to get them through a short visit to the country, those staying on with the lesson can progress differently, depending on their individual requests and requirements. Whether you are buying property in a foreign country, married to a foreign national, planning a round-the-world trip, interested in German history and culture, or if you simply want to attain a particular level of German, this is the choice for you.
German lessons of this type are aimed towards those that need to learn German to aid them with their employment. For those just starting out, it is integral to learn basic greetings and business etiquette; and reading and writing can be adopted once the simple precepts are out of the way. Success has come from students who are involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, those seeking jobs in multinational companies, and those working with foreign colleagues, academia and bureaucracy. Just our most basic beginners lesson will have the student finishing the lesson with basic telephone/e-mail skills in German, as well as survival German should a short stay in the country be needed.
2 or more people can benefit studying German together as these German lessons are also offered to groups (Two-to-One German Lesson or Small Group In-Company German Lesson). Every student must have the same degree of knowledge of the language, the same business or language needs and the ability to study at the same time and place as everybody else. The booking has to be made for all students at the same time. Listen & Learn do not advocate group sessions of more than 6-8 people, though Taster German Lessons can be experienced by up to 12 people.

"Zack is a great teacher, he is so kind and serious, and also flexible to meet the demands. I took his courses for 1 months before I moved to Germany and it was great that I could already communicate with German people when I arrived here. Thanks Zack and thanks 'listen and learn'. KZ@Duesseldorf"
Glendale
Glendale is the birthplace of many elements of today's commercial aviation industry. The city's historic Grand Central Airport was the first of its kind in California to offer trans-continental flights to and from the East Coast. Today, Glendale is an upbeat, eclectic community in Los Angeles County. With its proximity to the heart of the entertainment industry, Glendale features a mixture of down-home charm and big city beat. Dreamworks SKG and Walt Disney Company both have a considerable number of offices in Glendale, making it a hub for international business dealing with film, television and music. Of the 200,000-plus residents, almost 40% are either Asian or Hispanic in origin, making Glendale one of the great American 'melting pot' cities of the West, and an ideal place to learn and master a new language.
