Your colleagues and yourself can be trained by our native-speaking fully-qualified German tutors at a time and location to suit you. Classes can take place any day, even weekends, and can happen in the morning, afternoon or evening. If the case may be that your home or office is not convenient, there is always the option to take your classes at the office of your teacher. Study books for the lesson are provided.
This set of German tutorials are less specific and more targeted at those who want to get a range of different things from learning German. Even though all novice students will cover survival German: enough German to make a visit to the country or make good contacts with the locals, but what do you do from there? It depends on your needs. Those who have benefitted from these lessons have been those moving or investing overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people who love to travel all over the world, those interested in German culture, and those who just want to pass a specific examination in German.
These German lessons are driven towards people who have a requirement to learn German to bolster their work output. For novices, you will find it useful to learn basic greetings and business etiquette; and once you have become more proficient then reading and writing will come to the fore. Typical students include those concerned with import/export, those seeking work in multinational companies, international negotiations, and anyone working with international colleagues or administration. Even on our most rudimentary beginners lesson, students can expect to finish the lesson with decent telephone and e-mail German, as well as a good enough grip on the language for a short trip to the country.
2 or more people can benefit studying German together as these German lessons are also offered to groups (Two-to-One German Lesson or Small Group In-Company German Lesson). Every student must have the same degree of knowledge of the language, the same business or language needs and the ability to study at the same time and place as everybody else. The booking has to be made for all students at the same time. Listen & Learn do not advocate group sessions of more than 6-8 people, though Taster German Lessons can be experienced by up to 12 people.

German Testimonials
"The German course is going great. German is a very difficult language - I didn't think I would be able to understand the grammar, but it is starting to make sense! Susanne has been a great teacher. She has so much patience and we actually have fun during our time together. "
Guelph
Known as 'The Royal City', Guelph has 200,000 residents, a low crime rate, clean streets and one of the highest standards of living in all of Canada. The city is built above a series of detailed waterways. In fact, it is believed that over a million rivers come to a convergence beneath the downtown area of Guelph alone. Water isn't the only thing flowing through Guelph. Money has found its way into the community as well, thanks to a progressive strategy put in place by civic leaders that has focused on attracting bio-engineering and genetic technology companies into the city. The strategy has worked, and as a result there are now a variety of languages being spoken throughout the downtown area. Mix in the 10% of the community that claim themselves as 'minorities' and it easy to see why learning a language in Guelph is a great investment.
