German Courses in Las Vegas
Our native speaker qualified German language teachers can train you and your colleagues at your office or home at a time to suit you. Classes can be any day of the week (even weekends) in the morning, afternoon or evening. In certain circumstances, if your home or office is not suitable, you can take your classes at the trainer's office. Course books are provided.
German 1 to 1 General
This set of German tutorials are less specific and more targeted at those who want to get a range of different things from learning German. Even though all novice students will cover survival German: enough German to make a visit to the country or make good contacts with the locals, but what do you do from there? It depends on your needs. Those who have benefitted from these courses have been those moving or investing overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people who love to travel all over the world, those interested in German culture, and those who just want to pass a specific examination in German.
German 1 to 1 Business
These German courses are intended for people who really need to learn German to help make that difference in their work. For beginners, it will be useful to learn greetings and basic business etiquette, at higher levels reading and then writing become more important. Typical students include those involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where an additional language is required, and those working with international colleagues, academia and government. Even on our most basic course for Beginners, students should expect to end the course with basic Telephone German and e-mail German skills for communications as well as Survival German required for short visits to a country.
German Group Lessons
The German courses are also available for 2 or more people studying together (Two-to-One German Course or Small Group In-Company German Course). All participants must have the same level, the same business or general language needs and be able to study at the same time in the same location. The booking must be made for all participants at the same time. Listen & Learn do not recommend group classes of more than 6-8 people although In-Company Taster German Courses can be run with up to 12 people.

German uses the same 26 letters as English, with the addition of three vowels with 'Umlaut's (ä, ö and ü) and ß, ('Eszett' or 'sharp s').

Las Vegas
The city of Las Vegas, situated in the state of Nevada has an unusual history, having originally been part of Mexico until it was annexed by the US in 1855. Its array of lavish hotels and casinos has led to it being labeled the 'entertainment capital of the world'. The most famous of these casinos are situated on Las Vegas Boulevard and are the perfect place to go if you have a few spare dollars in your pocket and enjoy the rush of a spot of blackjack, poker or roulette.
If gambling is not your thing, Vegas has plenty more to offer - the city also has a rich and diverse artistic community. 'First Friday' is a must-see event, which takes place on the first Friday of each month in the Downtown Arts District, where local artists and musicians perform to crowds and passers-by. All these attractions added to the fantastic climate of hot summers, mild winters and year-round sunshine make Vegas a great destination to learn a foreign language.
