German 1 to 1 General

These German lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students with a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival German - required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population, students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, German culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular German examination.

"Zack is a great teacher, he is so kind and serious, and also flexible to meet the demands. I took his courses for 1 months before I moved to Germany and it was great that I could already communicate with German people when I arrived here. Thanks Zack and thanks 'listen and learn'. "

Newark

Newark is the largest city in the State of New Jersey, and with a population of 275,000 it is also the 64th most populous city in the United States. While Newark has a 'personality' all its own, it has also benefitted greatly from its close proximity to New York City (it is only a few short miles away). Newark Airport has become a hub for international air travel, which has pumped billions of dollars into the local economy. Newark has dedicated a considerable amount of its resources to becoming more eco-friendly in the 21st Century. Several of the biggest redevelopment projects in the city are being built using environmentally sound practices and will allow for solar power and the use sustainable materials. The Hispanic and Latino populations in Newark make up almost 30% of the demographic, with double digit percentages for Asian Americans from Korea, Viet Nam and China as well. Given the short distance from Manhattan and the international make up of the citizens, Newark is one of the most useful places on the eastern seaboard to learn a new language.
