Our Korean speakers, fully qualified to teach their native tongue, can train you and, if need be, the rest of your group at a time that is suitable to you, at your home or place of work. Sessions can take place on the day of your choosing - even weekends - and at the time you want: whether it be morning, afternoon or evening. If circumstances arise where your home or office is not convenient, the classes can be held at your trainer's office. Resources for the lesson are provided for you.
These Korean lessons fit a broader spectrum, and can be useful for those who need different things from the language. Most beginner students will have a handle of survival Korean by the end of their lesson, which will provide them with enough Korean to communicate at least at a basic level during short trips to the country, but those who require more would benefit greatly from these sessions. Typical students have been those eager to travel all over the world, those buying overseas property, those with foreign spouses, aficionados of Korean culture and those who just wish to pass a particular Korean exam.
These lessons in Korean are meant for those that feel that learning Korean would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. Students who have greatly benefitted have been involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where another language is required, and those working in the international academia and government circuits. Even on our most fundamental beginner's lesson, students can anticipate ending the lesson with basic telephone Korean and e-mail Korean skills for communicating, as well as survival Korean if a short visit to the country is needed.
If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Korean, the same targets within the language, and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Korean lessons can also be made available for Two-to-One Korean Lessons or Small Group In-Company Korean Lessons. Listen & Learn do not generally recommend classes of more than 6-8 people, although Taster lessons in Korean can run with up to 12 people. Bookings must be made for all participants at the same time.
Unlike most other Asian languages, Korean employs spaces to separate words
Korean uses the Hangul writing system, consisting of 10 vowels and 14 consonants
Regional boundaries in Korea are often decided by seas and mountains, meaning that dialects around Korea are closely associated with the region of origin

Tampa
If you find yourself on the west coast of Florida, in the heart of Hillsborough County, head on over to the place they call 'Cigar City' and you'll be soaking up the rays in Tampa. Lucky it also goes by the name of the 'Sunshine City'! Tampa is also characterized by the potential that it offers language learners, for there's opportunities abound for studying a new language or keeping in practice with a language you have previously mastered.
