Our Lithuanian speakers, fully qualified to teach their native tongue, can train you and, if need be, the rest of your group at a time that is suitable to you, at your home or place of work. Sessions can take place on the day of your choosing - even weekends - and at the time you want: whether it be morning, afternoon or evening. If circumstances arise where your home or office is not convenient, the classes can be held at your trainer's office. Resources for the lesson are provided for you.
These Lithuanian lessons fit a broader spectrum, and can be useful for those who need different things from the language. Most beginner students will have a handle of survival Lithuanian by the end of their lesson, which will provide them with enough Lithuanian to communicate at least at a basic level during short trips to the country, but those who require more would benefit greatly from these sessions. Typical students have been those eager to travel all over the world, those buying overseas property, those with foreign spouses, aficionados of Lithuanian culture and those who just wish to pass a particular Lithuanian exam.
These lessons in Lithuanian are meant for those that feel that learning Lithuanian would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. Students who have greatly benefitted have been involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where another language is required, and those working in the international academia and government circuits. Even on our most fundamental beginner's lesson, students can anticipate ending the lesson with basic telephone Lithuanian and e-mail Lithuanian skills for communicating, as well as survival Lithuanian if a short visit to the country is needed.
If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Lithuanian, the same targets within the language, and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Lithuanian lessons can also be made available for Two-to-One Lithuanian Lessons or Small Group In-Company Lithuanian Lessons. Listen & Learn do not generally recommend classes of more than 6-8 people, although Taster lessons in Lithuanian can run with up to 12 people. Bookings must be made for all participants at the same time.

Newark
Newark is the largest city in the State of New Jersey, and with a population of 275,000 it is also the 64th most populous city in the United States. While Newark has a 'personality' all its own, it has also benefitted greatly from its close proximity to New York City (it is only a few short miles away). Newark Airport has become a hub for international air travel, which has pumped billions of dollars into the local economy. Newark has dedicated a considerable amount of its resources to becoming more eco-friendly in the 21st Century. Several of the biggest redevelopment projects in the city are being built using environmentally sound practices and will allow for solar power and the use sustainable materials. The Hispanic and Latino populations in Newark make up almost 30% of the demographic, with double digit percentages for Asian Americans from Korea, Viet Nam and China as well. Given the short distance from Manhattan and the international make up of the citizens, Newark is one of the most useful places on the eastern seaboard to learn a new language.
