Russian 1 to 1 Business

Russian lessons of this type are aimed towards those that need to learn Russian to aid them with their employment. For those just starting out, it is integral to learn basic greetings and business etiquette; and reading and writing can be adopted once the simple precepts are out of the way. Success has come from students who are involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, those seeking jobs in multinational companies, and those working with foreign colleagues, academia and bureaucracy. Russian Testimonials

"For my first lesson, I received the same top quality Russian language lesson that Listen and Learn promise to maintain. Having been an instructor at one time, I am in the habit of testing fellow instructors regarding their knowledge and their ability to teach. Well I am happy to inform you that my first lesson exceeded my expectations in all aspects! Not only did Maria impose the degree of professionalism that was warranted, she is very knowledgeable and she has that knack for sensing the approach a particular student should have in order for that student to learn, and more importantly, for that student to want to learn. Maria achieved the element of trust that must first be established between an instructor and their student in order for a student's mind to open itself to the learning process. Now, I only hope that I can achieve my own objectives!"

Cape Breton

Cape Breton is an island city located off of the coast of Nova Scotia. This historic Canadian town has over 125,000 residents and has long been the home to the coal mining and steel industries. Perhaps Cape Breton's more famous resident of all time was Alexander Graham Bell who, after inventing the telephone, moved to the area to continue his research and invention-making. While in Cape Breton, Bell developed new ways to help the deaf communicate, even playing host to Helen Keller for a time. Today, Cape Breton is a mixture of different nationalities and cultures, including Scottish, Irish, Acadian and English. This unique mixture of residents and travelers has made learning a second language in Cape Breton a useful experience. With the world's borders coming down thanks to the Internet and inexpensive travel costs, this is an outstanding time for Bretons to jump in and start mastering a new language.
