Your colleagues and yourself can be trained by our native-speaking fully-qualified Russian tutors at a time and location to suit you. Classes can take place any day, even weekends, and can happen in the morning, afternoon or evening. If the case may be that your home or office is not convenient, there is always the option to take your classes at the office of your teacher. Study books for the lesson are provided.
This set of Russian tutorials are less specific and more targeted at those who want to get a range of different things from learning Russian. Even though all novice students will cover survival Russian: enough Russian to make a visit to the country or make good contacts with the locals, but what do you do from there? It depends on your needs. Those who have benefitted from these lessons have been those moving or investing overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people who love to travel all over the world, those interested in Russian culture, and those who just want to pass a specific examination in Russian.
These Russian Lessons are intended for people who really need to learn Russian to help make that difference in their work. For beginners, it will be useful to learn greetings and basic business etiquette, at higher levels reading and then writing become more important. Typical students include those involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where an additional language is required, and those working with international colleagues, academia and government. Even on our most basic lesson for Beginners, students should expect to end the lesson with basic Telephone Russian and e-mail Russian skills for communications as well as Survival Russian required for short visits to a country.
If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Russian, the same targets within the language, and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Russian lessons can also be made available for Two-to-One Russian Lessons or Small Group In-Company Russian Lessons. Listen & Learn do not generally recommend classes of more than 6-8 people, although Taster lessons in Russian can run with up to 12 people. Bookings must be made for all participants at the same time.

Russian Testimonials
"For my first lesson, I received the same top quality Russian language lesson that Listen and Learn promise to maintain. Having been an instructor at one time, I am in the habit of testing fellow instructors regarding their knowledge and their ability to teach. Well I am happy to inform you that my first lesson exceeded my expectations in all aspects! Not only did Maria impose the degree of professionalism that was warranted, she is very knowledgeable and she has that knack for sensing the approach a particular student should have in order for that student to learn, and more importantly, for that student to want to learn. Maria achieved the element of trust that must first be established between an instructor and their student in order for a student's mind to open itself to the learning process. Now, I only hope that I can achieve my own objectives!"
Edmonton
Along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River lies the city of Edmonton, the second largest city in the Alberta Province of Canada. Business in Edmonton has traditionally been fueled by its proximity to large diamond mines and oil reserves to the north. Because of the location of the city, prospectors, miners and oil companies have used Edmonton as a home base for their operations – often funneling that money back into the local economy. Edmonton became world famous during the 1980s when the town's hockey team, The Edmonton Oilers won several consecutive Stanley Cup championships behind their handsome young captain Wayne Gretzky. From blue color workers to international executives, the people of Edmonton come from all over the world – so knowing one or two additional languages is always going to be quite useful in this part of the country.
