You and your group can be trained by our native speaker qualified Spanish teachers, and can meet at your place of work or home at a time convenient to you. Tutorials can take place any day of the week, including weekends, and can be scheduled for the morning, afternoon or evening. If your home or office is not suitable for you, you can attend the lesson at the teacher's offices. You will be provided with all relevant lesson materials.
These Spanish lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students with a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Spanish - required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population, students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, Spanish culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular Spanish examination.
These Spanish Lessons are intended for people who really need to learn Spanish to help make that difference in their work. For beginners, it will be useful to learn greetings and basic business etiquette, at higher levels reading and then writing become more important. Typical students include those involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where an additional language is required, and those working with international colleagues, academia and government. Even on our most basic lesson for Beginners, students should expect to end the lesson with basic Telephone Spanish and e-mail Spanish skills for communications as well as Survival Spanish required for short visits to a country.
2 or more people can benefit studying Spanish together as these Spanish lessons are also offered to groups (Two-to-One Spanish Lesson or Small Group In-Company Spanish Lesson). Every student must have the same degree of knowledge of the language, the same business or language needs and the ability to study at the same time and place as everybody else. The booking has to be made for all students at the same time. Listen & Learn do not advocate group sessions of more than 6-8 people, though Taster Spanish Lessons can be experienced by up to 12 people.

Thunder Bay
In addition to having one of the coolest sounding town names in Canada, Thunder Bay is also the home to most of the health services and research industry in the area. Once the source of many logging and forestry jobs, Thunder Bay changed direction at a civic level when those industries began to slow down at the tail end of the 20th century. As a result of this forward-thinking attitude, the city is now thriving, with a population that continues to grow, even while other cities in the area are seeing declines or stagnations in the population. A large number of Finnish people live in Thunder Bay, as well as individuals who come from American, the Pacific Rim and Europe to work in the health services and government industries that are located there. With so much activity for such a relatively small town of 150,000, the need for foreign language speakers has risen dramatically. Whether it is French, English, Arabic or Chinese, learning a new language in Thunder Bay is beneficial and should be considered by anyone who has an eye on the future of our world.
