Our native speaker qualified Swahili language teachers can train you and your colleagues at your office or home at a time to suit you. In certain circumstances, if your home or office is not suitable, you can take your classes at the trainer's office. Lesson books are provided.

Swahili 1 to 1 General

These Swahili lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students with a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Swahili - required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population, students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, Swahili culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular Swahili examination.

Swahili 1 to 1 Business

These Swahili lessons are driven towards people who have a requirement to learn Swahili to bolster their work output. For novices, you will find it useful to learn basic greetings and business etiquette; and once you have become more proficient then reading and writing will come to the fore. Typical students include those concerned with import/export, those seeking work in multinational companies, international negotiations, and anyone working with international colleagues or administration. Even on our most rudimentary beginners lesson, students can expect to finish the lesson with decent telephone and e-mail Swahili, as well as a good enough grip on the language for a short trip to the country.

Portland

Portland is nationally and internationally recognized for a number of quirky points. A recognized culture of microbreweries and an ideal climate for growing roses have drawn people from all over the world to the state of Oregon's most popular city, but that's not all. Portland is a distinctly livable city, and is acclaimed as the second "greenest" or eco-friendliest city in the world after Reykjavík in Iceland. Urban planning is key to a sustainable and enjoyable life in Portland, and scores of individuals and families from the United States and abroad have chosen to make Portland their home for the years to come. This essentially translates into a cosmopolitan community where learning for life is a priority. Take classes in a new language with a native speaker teacher in the supportive atmosphere of Portland, and find out exactly how easy it can be!
