Our Vietnamese speakers, fully qualified to teach their native tongue, can train you and, if need be, the rest of your group at a time that is suitable to you, at your home or place of work. Sessions can take place on the day of your choosing - even weekends - and at the time you want: whether it be morning, afternoon or evening. If circumstances arise where your home or office is not convenient, the classes can be held at your trainer's office. Resources for the lesson are provided for you.
These Vietnamese lessons fit a broader spectrum, and can be useful for those who need different things from the language. Most beginner students will have a handle of survival Vietnamese by the end of their lesson, which will provide them with enough Vietnamese to communicate at least at a basic level during short trips to the country, but those who require more would benefit greatly from these sessions. Typical students have been those eager to travel all over the world, those buying overseas property, those with foreign spouses, aficionados of Vietnamese culture and those who just wish to pass a particular Vietnamese exam.
Vietnamese lessons of this type are aimed towards those that need to learn Vietnamese to aid them with their employment. For those just starting out, it is integral to learn basic greetings and business etiquette; and reading and writing can be adopted once the simple precepts are out of the way. Success has come from students who are involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, those seeking jobs in multinational companies, and those working with foreign colleagues, academia and bureaucracy. Just our most basic beginners lesson will have the student finishing the lesson with basic telephone/e-mail skills in Vietnamese, as well as survival Vietnamese should a short stay in the country be needed.
Those wishing to learn Vietnamese in groups of 2 or more together (Two-to-One Vietnamese Lessons or Small Group In-Company Vietnamese Lessons) can sign up for our group classes. All students must be at nearly the same level of Vietnamese proficiency, must have the same needs from the language, and must be able to study at the same time and place as the others. Bookings must be made for all students simultaneously. Listen & Learn do not propose group sizes or more than 6-8 people, but In-Company Taster Vietnamese Lessons can occur with up to 12 people.

Longueuil
Longueuil is the 19th biggest city in Canada, with a population of 225,000 people. The city is broken up into three different boroughs, Vieux-Longueuil, Saint-Hubert and Greenfield Park, each one with a distinct feel and its own history. Close to Montreal, Longueuil is seen by many as a suburb of that world-renowned city. But there is industry in Longueuil, in particular the aerospace business. Companies like Pratt & Whitey and the Canadian Space Agency are both located there and employed thousands of the city's hardest working people. In terms of languages that are essential to living in Longueuil, French and English run one and two respectively, but there is also a growing need for Arabic speakers in the area.
