Kraut, one of Aurora's favorite slang terms!

<<< Back to Slang USA Cities Map
(verb) To get out of a place; leave

Liam: Let’s kraut.

John: The presentation isn’t over yet.  I want to see how it turns out.

Liam: This is so boring.  I’m falling asleep.

While the term 'kraut' is often used as a derogatory term referencing a German person, in Aurora it is used in a completely different manner.  It signifies boredom and the need to leave the situation.  The reason that the word 'kraut' is used in this way is unknown.

Li’l Dicky’s song “Jewish Flow” references this word with the newer meaning.
