Slovak Lessons in Austin

Our Slovak speakers, fully qualified to teach their native tongue, can train you and, if need be, the rest of your group at a time that is suitable to you, at your home or place of work. Sessions can take place on the day of your choosing - even weekends - and at the time you want: whether it be morning, afternoon or evening. If circumstances arise where your home or office is not convenient, the classes can be held at your trainer's office. Resources for the lesson are provided for you.

All beginner students will expect to study enough survival Slovak to get them through a short visit to the country, those staying on with the lesson can progress differently, depending on their individual requests and requirements. Slovak 1 to 1 Business

Those who would benefit the most from these Slovak tutorials are those who feel they need to learn Slovak to help them out in their business lives. For starters, learning salutations and business etiquette is integral; once these have been practiced then reading and writing lessons can start. Typical studiers have been those involved in international import/export, negotiations and acquisitions, those in multinational companies requiring another language, and those working in any way with international governments and relevant administration. Just our simplest lesson for beginners will have students finishing the lessons with basic telephone and e-mail Slovak, as well as survival Slovak should a visit to the country be necessary.

Slovak Group Lessons

Those wishing to learn Slovak in groups of 2 or more together (Two-to-One Slovak Lessons or Small Group In-Company Slovak Lessons) can sign up for our group classes. All students must be at nearly the same level of Slovak proficiency, must have the same needs from the language, and must be able to study at the same time and place as the others. Bookings must be made for all students simultaneously. Listen & Learn do not propose group sizes or more than 6-8 people, but In-Company Taster Slovak Lessons can occur with up to 12 people.

Austin

As the capital of Texas and nicknamed the "Live Music Capital of the World", Austin is a truly happening part of the American South and Southwest. Known not only for its musicians and venues, the city's 715,000 residents include a great deal of diversity, both in terms of culture, ethnicity and quirkiness. There seems to be no such thing as a 'typical' Austinite - almost every race under the sun is represented in the city; meaning that as far as places to pick up a new language are concerned, Austin is a great candidate.
