This set of Taiwanese tutorials are less specific and more targeted at those who want to get a range of different things from learning Taiwanese. Even though all novice students will cover survival Taiwanese: enough Taiwanese to make a visit to the country or make good contacts with the locals, but what do you do from there? It depends on your needs. Those who have benefitted from these lessons have been those moving or investing overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people who love to travel all over the world, those interested in Taiwanese culture, and those who just want to pass a specific examination in Taiwanese. Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) Business Taiwanese
These Taiwanese Lessons are intended for people who really need to learn Taiwanese to help make that difference in their work. For beginners, it will be useful to learn greetings and basic business etiquette, at higher levels reading and then writing become more important. Typical students include those involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where an additional language is required, and those working with international colleagues, academia and government. Even on our most basic lesson for Beginners, students should expect to end the lesson with basic Telephone Taiwanese and e-mail Taiwanese skills for communications as well as Survival Taiwanese required for short visits to a country. Face-to-Face Closed (Private) Group General or Business Taiwanese
If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Taiwanese, the same targets within the language, and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Taiwanese lessons can also be made available for Two-to-One Taiwanese Lessons or Small Group In-Company Taiwanese Lessons. Listen & Learn do not generally recommend classes of more than 6-8 people, although Taster lessons in Taiwanese can run with up to 12 people. Skype, Google Meet or Zoom Online 1-to-1 (Individual) General or Business Taiwanese
Our native-speaking qualified Taiwanese teachers can guide you and your group at your work or at home, at a time convenient to you. Classes can take place on any day of the week - even weekends - morning, afternoon or evening. Those wishing to learn Taiwanese in groups of 2 or more together (Two-to-One Taiwanese Lessons or Small Group In-Company Taiwanese Lessons) can sign up for our group classes. All students must be at nearly the same level of Taiwanese proficiency, must have the same needs from the language, and must be able to study at the same time and place as the others. Bookings must be made for all students simultaneously. Listen & Learn do not propose group sizes or more than 6-8 people, but In-Company Taster Taiwanese Lessons can occur with up to 12 people.
